Thank you for visiting Crazy Carl’s Cricket Farm. We proudly offer hearty, fresh, New England farm raised crickets for your pets. Each has been carefully “slow raised”, fed a high protein calcium rich diet, and lovingly nurtured to ensure the very best, highest quality food source for your herp. Our mission is to ensure that you, as well as your pets, are completely satisfied!!!!

At Crazy Carl’s Cricket Farm we take extreme pride in the crickets we raise for your herps. Having owned assorted reptiles over the years we have gained first hand experience, as pet owners, buying, growing and maintaining feeder crickets. This has given us personal understanding of the pet owner’s responsibility and challenge to provide an uninterrupted, high quality, food supply for their pet reptiles. Combining state of the art cricket hatchery technology, with an intense quality control program embracing 6-Sigma continuous improvement initiatives, we are able to bring you feeder crickets of the highest caliber.

Our hearty New England raised crickets are fed a high protein, calcium rich diet and are carefully slow raised to provide the highest quality food source for your herp. A cricket’s metabolism is directly affected by temperature, and their growth rate can be easily controlled and manipulated. “Slow raised” is a process where they are grown at a lower controlled temperature creating less stress on their metabolism. The theory holds that the slower growth rate allows for a potential greater concentration of protein, calcium and other vitamins and minerals critical to the health of your pet. Under our process, for instance, an adult takes 8 weeks to mature versus 6 weeks at other breeders.

Our farm is located in a historic 175 year old mill building, in the scenic city of Franklin, located in central New Hampshire. We welcome you to our farm and look forward to being your preferred cricket source. Do your pet a favor and get them the best…..it would be crazy not to.
