Shipping Info

Here at Crazy Carl’s Worm Farm we will take extreme care to ensure that the MealWorms we so lovingly raised arrive at your doorstep safe and sound. We will include heat packs when extreme cold weather conditions prevail with no additional shipping charge. We reserve the right to hold off shipment where the predicted temperatures are too extreme to ensure live delivery. Should there be a loss we will reship your order free of product charge, however you will be responsible for shipping cost. Please realize that so much is beyond our control once the critters leave the farm. We understand that there are often extenuating circumstances and we are committed to working with you to ensure your satisfaction.

We ship Monday through Friday depending on location and transit time. All shipments must be scheduled to arrive by Saturday so that they don’t spend the weekend in a cold or hot terminal. FedEx Home delivery will deliver to you home address on Saturdays. We ship our mealworms Monday through Friday, Thursday for 2nd day, Wedsenday for 3 day, via FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx Ground for shipments to a business adress, across the continental United States. We guarantee live delivery for all shipments provided the destination is within a three day delivery area or a shipping method is selected that assures a three day delivery. The FedEx Ground option will ensure next day delivery to most New England states.

It is very important that you let us know if we are shipping to a business address. We use FedEx ground for business deliveries, and FedEx Home for all residential deliveries. FedEx ground won’t deliver on Saturdays nor after normal business hours, while FedEx Home delivery will. Unless the business name is included in the shipping address we will assume that we are shipping to a home address and we will not be responsible for delayed deliveries or loss due to an incomplete address.

All orders will ship within 24 to 48 hours. All orders placed after 6:00am will ship the following day and on Friday will ship the following Monday.

We can only accept a physical street address; PO Box addresses will not be accepted. Live guarantee will apply provided we are contacted within 24 hours of any issues or of a DOA (dead on arrival) shipment. Our e-mail address is cccricketfarm@gmail.com.

Our payment options include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and PayPal. We also offer a Pre-payment option with cash, check or money order, an e-mail will be sent with the mailing address after the order has been placed.

Our New England farm raised mealworms are very hearty and will survive cold weather provided they don’t actually freeze. We will provide cold weather packaging which can included a foam insulating liner and heat packs. Mealworms hibernate in the cold and while they may appear dead they are simply sleeping. Upon arrival remove them from the shipping box and allow them 4 to 5 hours at room temperature to wake up.
